Mobile Phone Chargers
Ask a Question
I have to have a Lightning charger for my (quite old) iPhone. How long do yours last? I’ve had to change mine every six months or so but this one I must have only had 2 months. It’s really difficult and takes a lot of fiddling to get lightning symbol up. I can’t keep on spending on new ones. Also now they want to stop my landline so I have to rely on it! Thanks.
They don't like very long at all when I had my iPhone I needed to buy them a good few times so I just got a new phone no apple as I didn't like them in the first place
I bought a UGREEN 65w USB charger for £19 and a RavPower 65w USB charger for £14 and they're both great. Also bought a 30w Syncwire USB charger for something like £6 and no probs.
It also helps if you use quality/braided cables so they don't get damaged easily.
65w chargers are more than enough for me and the phone gets charged very quickly.
By the way, Apple will reportedly be using USB-C ports for new iPhones (they already do for iPads) so it'll help not having to buy their proprietary cables, BUT they'll limit the non-Apple USB-C cables to slow charging speeds while the proprietary USB-C will charge at high/full speed.
Classic Apple. lol
