Is it Appropriate for a Teacher to Ask Students to Slap a 7 year old-Child?

I was in total disbelief when i read this story
A schoolteacher in India instructed her class to take it in turns to slap a muslim child , and was caught on camera instructing them to hit him harder
She doesn't think she has done anything wrong , and said the reason she didn't slap him herself is because she is disabled !!
The child is only 7 years of age , i cannot imagine what the poor thing is going through
If this happened in the UK she would be in prison for many years and sued by the parents
That's disgusting. I don't care she's disabled she needs a slap. I could never let other kids slap a child.
Sickening and vile behaviour. That woman needs more than a slap, prison would be more appropriate!
telmel she would have done alright in the victoriana era but in the 2020s just no. There are no excuses.
Why isn’t something done in these countries? Surely they don’t think it’s acceptable to hit a child, the only thing that taught these children is that it’s acceptable to slap each other around
