Lynibis.....Oil pulling, also known as "kavala" or "gundusha," is an ancient Ayurvedic dental technique that involves swishing a tablespoon of oil in your mouth on an empty stomach for around 20 minutes. This action supposedly draws out toxins in your body, primarily to improve oral health but also to improve your overall health.

Starviewer thank you for explaining. It doesn't sound very pleasant and I am not sure I could manage 1 minute without retching.

Starviewer Who's got time to do that? I can think of plenty of other ways of getting rid of toxins by working up a proper sweat be it exercise or other activities

I do it every morning. I started this last year when I had the sensitive tooth problem. Just in 3 days I had no issues like sensitivity. So I decided to continue every morning. Very good habit I would say. Especially for you oral health.
