My Parcel Has Been Returned Back to Me

Hi I sent a parcel to Ireland before Christmas it has just been returned back to me with a sticker on it saying customs have rejected it has this happened to anyone on here

I went to my local post office and asked why its been sent back but she can't understand it said it has everything on it that it should have

I assume it may have got caught up in the hack, I remember reading a news story about it Royal Mail: Overseas post still disrupted after 'cyber incident'

Thanks for your reply I didn't hear about this do you think you can claim postage back as it cost be £11 to send I will need to send it again its a gift for my nephew and his partner my shop don't know its ridiculous sending them back with no reason 🙃 yes took ages I posted it on the 17th December

I don't see why not you paid for a service you didn't receive the Post Office should have automatically told you about the process to get reimbursed.

She told me to contact royal mail as she couldn't understand why it got returned said it had all the correct stamps and stuff on it I can't see royal mail giving me a refund

kate1310 They should as they didn't deliver it or give an explanation of why it was returned to you. I would give it a go as there is nothing to lose.

I might phone royal mail it got rejected in Ireland so I don't know if they will help me suppose its worth asking them thanks for your comment 🤩
