Ridge Cut Crisps
Ask a Question
For some reason this type of crisps is better than the normal ones cause not only do they have more of a crunch to them but also more stronger flavours!
Does anyone else agree?
Yeah i do agree, love mccoys. I think they have more flavour cause due to the ridges they have bigger surface area so more flavour to stick to.
I agree and these are my preferred crisps! I think the ridges hold more flavouring which is handy
The flavors of chips (or crisps as known in England) are just so standard/average/bland which isn't necessarily a bad thing, but they definitely could offer to have jamón (no one has come up with an English translation and calling it "ham" would be inaccurate), too.
PhilipMarc walkers used to do a lot more flavours but then they discounted loads of them. The crisp flavours have become a bit more bland I’d say
I agree, at the moment I am buying the lightly salted ones from Aldi and they're really nice as well as quite a bit cheaper (£1.15 big packet) than branded ones I was buying previously.
TiaTia I recently got the monster claws exact same shape as Monster munch ones! I have tried the pickled onion one not much flavour lol
The roast beef is lightly flavoured but the flaming hot one is the strongest one lol
Much cheaper than the branded one pack of 10! But I was lucky cause the pack I got had an extra 1!!
Aldi does great foods too much better prices!
Crisps with ridges tend to be thicker than ordinary crisps and are much better for scooping up hummus or salsa etc.
Auntielettie I agree with you on this too! I forgot to get some of these dips!
Normal crisps are too thin and breaks easily!
Not sure quite what the science is but yes they do seem to taste better and hold flavour more.
Nadiaparveen haha nicely said!
I really recommend Sainbsury’s Taste the Difference crisps!
Summer edition one called Mexican pulled pork flavour delicious ridge cut crisps are the best!
Also the mature cheddar and spring onion flavour is very strong! Tastes much better than Walkers’ cheese and onion
