Sanditon and ITVX, Not Very Professional

Other

I binge watched 3 episodes on 2 consecutive nights and i love these sort of regency stories brought to the screen.

I watched on ITVX but isn't it time they sorted it out? Every episode stuck on the artwork at the beginning credits with the name Rose Martin but continued to play the episode behind. I eventually worked out a way to ff and watch the episode proper. I also found the breaks into ads very sharp and they juddered a lot.

Yes, i did love Sanditon but the main heroine drove me insane with her constant stress face, i think i saw her smile twice in the last three episodes and found myself wondering why Mr. Colbourn was so enamoured of her.

Whether ordered by the director or her own take on acting the part, who can say but her constant miserable facade made the watching almost painful.

Her wig was almost comical. An untidy rounded heap stuck on top like a hat where you could plainly see her own hair pulled up underneath, especially in episode 4.

Has anyone else watched?

Just to explain further. ITVX did it on something else I watched last night. The programme starts but gets stuck on screen immediately while the programme continues in sound only.

Also, when it goes to adverts, the advert flickers, then starts again. I can't understand why it has not been sorted. Isn't my tv as it only happens on ITVX

ITVX the "free" streaming service with ads? I'd have to use an adblocker to get an ad-free experience.

PhilipMarc I actually don't mind if I like the programme enough. They are very quick, not like the ones on main tv that can last up to 6 minutes+. Also if I sit too long, sometimes all evening in front of TV, I get quite stiff and achey so I make a point of standing up and walking round the room every time the ads come on lol.
