Shopmium - I Can Never Find The Offers?

Ask a Question

Anybody else find that 90% of the offers are not on sale in their local shops?

Yes, I can never find the items that are on offer or they are things that I wouldn't use, so I don't bother with it.

I find that pretty much any offer at Sainsbury's on the app is never available or it isn't available when the offer is on but it is on sale as soon as the app offer has expired!

Not just me then. I did find some pork scratching type snack in Sainsbury's, but they were absolutely disgusting! Glad I got the full £1 back for them.

Annoyingly I shop mostly in Tesco and Lidl and the offers that pop up are mostly sainsbury or waitrose so I don't go to those that often. Still good when the Tesco ones pop up, they usually have them.

i don’t actually have a drama with it if I’m honest. Some weeks ill Get loads and other weeks nothing. Think it’s just how it goes xx

Depends really, as many products on Shopmium are new they aren't stocked in all stores yet. I've gotten maybe around 50% of the freebies I've looked for on there. By far the best cashback app IMO, money automatically sent after approved is fantastic.

I agree, far better than GreenJinn. Really slow at processing.

nrsteady I also have Greenjinn, it sometimes has good offers but it does take forever to approve and I don't like the minimum withdrawal system as I am a sporadic cashback user who only claims the freebies!

Last week I got a few offers. But yes one offer that was specifically for a Tesco Express was not to be found at a Tesco Express!

Yes, some offers on Shopmium & Checkoutsmart can be so hard to find. The shop assistants look at you oddly when ask if in stock. Yippee, found the Joybol miles away, as was out yesterday. It was by the cereals

jmsonl yes, I only knew because I asked staff who told me. It can really really be frustrating sometimes. I know it’s free, but it’s like dangling a treat in front of us & snatching it away

it can be very hit and miss, but i do hunt literally everywhere so i do usually find the products in the end. It takes a lot of effort sonetimes, but i do enjoy trying them out

Yes I can never get the tesco express ones so I don't bother looking for them. But the bigger supermarkets usually have their items. Just a shame some of the 'free' offers only run for 3days so I never get them in time 😞

Love Corn snacks this week from Tesco. Free, but should be £2. Wish me luck, our Tesco might have them.
