Smart Home Upgrades: What Else Can You Do Besides Lights?

I am needing help with something .About 6 weeks ago I had the idea to start switching the lightbulbs around the home to be compatible with our Alexa and we have started seeing some savings .Not huge amounts but it has convinced me and my wife to look into more smart products for the home.
We have now done all the lights and wanted suggestions for other things you could suggest for me to look at .
I know that you can get smart washing machines. You can control them remotely so you can turn them on when it would be cheaper to do the laundry, if you aren't on a fixed tariff. Same with dishwashers if you have one.

our brand new diswasher comes with smart phone technology but havent really bothered to set it up yet. not really sure what the point it but it might open up a few extra options
We found the same. We use Google and have plugs all around the home all TVs and gaming consoles get turned off so they are not on standby, lights are controlled and we usually have on a low setting. Mashing machines is now controlled through the phone which is great and very easy. X
