Where Do You Spend Most of Your Money Online
Other
I try to avoid spending on Amazon as they are taking over and I try to do my little bit to keep the independent shops going as I like a good browse in the shops
I love to shop at amazon because I have amazon vouchers. I also buy a lot from Chinese sites such as aliexpress and vova. They have quite unique and interesting things. Then to buy a bit to much from them
I don't spend money online too often anymore now but my favorite online retailers are Amazon and Aliexpress. Aliexpress can take anywhere from 15~30 days but it gets here.
I have avoided Amazon for some years after I was sold counterfeit goods and they didn't do anything about it. That's one reason I'm not interested in Amazon vouchers - even with vouchers I can usually find a thing I'm looking for, for much less.
I prefer eBay although many things I buy from China might take a few weeks to arrive they are a fraction of UK prices,
davidstockport You can get some really great deals on Ebay. Postage and packaging is a lot more often free of charge as well, than it is on Amazon.
I do think it would be a good idea if LD was to provide alternative options to Amazon vouchers.
RegularComper90 I suspect that LD get the Amazon vouchers highly discounted. Also with Ebay (being different sellers) a voucher scheme couldn't really work.
As said although in most cases there needs to be a wait for things from China, ebay is much better: Last year I wanted an SVGA cable (it connects a PC or laptop to TV) I expected to pay somewhere between £8 and £12 for it - I found one on eBay "Buy it Now" for £1 with free delivery - it arrived the following day by first class post.
Must say I once felt guilty - I put in a first bid of 25p for about 50 guitar plectrums and won - when they arrived "from China" I bought more stuff from the same site to make up for it.
