The Sun £9.50 Holidays

Ask a Question

The Sun £9.50 holidays have returned and booking was open from yesterday (saturday 9th september) decided to give it a go this year.

Has anyone done one of these before, any suggestions for where to go or where to avoid? Any tips and tricks? Is anyone else planning on doing a sun holiday?

I have done It a few times In the past but It has never been anywhere close to £9.50. I have no Idea why It Is called £9.50. There are always hidden extras. I believe the four nights cost me £90-£100. You can get a four day break with Haven for £55 without the entertainment pass and a hideaway Caravan If you look. Total rip off these Sun Holidays In my opinion. It depends where you live and how far you want to travel to. And of course the dates.

Emerge11 I searched into this once and found it cheaper not to use the vouchers and do it myself. Sounds good to start with, a bit like cheap flights.

Emerge11 yeah i have heard this in the past but was already collecting the sun tokens for the bear grylls experience so thought might as well check it out.

I got the newspaper for the code but I haven’t booked anything yet. I joined a Facebook group for tips and recommendations on where to go but I found it a bit overwhelming tbh.

I have done this many times. The cheapest way to do it is don't opt for the entertainment passes or any upgrades. If you choose your location wisely and only use the accommodation for the sleeping then it's a brilliant bargain. Compare it with travel lodge or premier inn etc and it's so much more inexpensive
