Has Anyone Successfully Tested Products After Signing Up?

Ask a Question

Hi all

I was wondering how many people who had signed up, have ever been asked to actually test a product? I’ve signed up to many of them, and received plenty of surveys....spent time filling them out, to get to the end and told I’m not eligible. Has anybody been successful? If so what was your experience like and what did you get to try out?

When joining any sites like this it is great if you can join via someone's referral or recommendation link, code or email. This will help them and yourself usually.

There is one survey site that has been absolutely amazing and I stick with it, sadly they only do referral links for those with big established websites and join their affiliates programme. Valued Opinions in the survey site I know and love, I've earned many supermarket vouchers and amazing vouchers from them, most surveys are worth 25p, 50p or 75p there are some higher ones and they recently brought in bonuses, so over Christmas I think I only had to complete any 2 surveys and got an extra £3 added to my account!

Product testing wise I joined up to a new one yesterday so can't comment on that particularly one. But regularly use one SuperSavvy Circle and the Super Savvy app. I've had a few product testing products since joining including some amazing toothpaste and fabric softener. (The app definitely has a referral code, but sadly can't share ours here)

I used to be an active BzzAgent tester, they sent food items and other things to try but they closed and redid their site and everything, it has changed completely and don't think after rejoining I've got any invites unless I've missed them.

Lots of people seem to do well with TriyIt but I've never been sent anything.

If you want some free items but don't want to go to the effort of entering for them there are some great cashback apps for food/beauty items. You have to originally buy the item but you can claim back part or all of the money for the item via the app and your refund is usually accepted within a day or two.

Shopmium (can get a free product using a referral code, sadly they can't be shared on here. Claim your money back instantly, no minimum)

CheckoutSmart (I'd wait until I had £20 to return back to my account to withdraw the money back out, otherwise they take 5%)

GreenJinn (Claim your money back to your account once you've got £1.50 worth pending)

I've been doing surveys and product testing for a few years now. I've actually had a lot of products to test over the years. Had lots of different things to try out.

I am signed up to many sites and I have been chosen many times to test products. I have had a couple of boxes from Triyit, a few products from a health site, many from others that have asked me to try cat food, no personally. Used to get loads more but problem is more people are using the sites so less chance. Another good one was Home tester club but recently got less from them.

I have signed up and product tested items which to me and my family is completely relevent to us .Laws of averages you will apply for more than you get to test but its like playing the lottery you need to be in it to win it .

I have product tested items ranging from washing powders /cleaning products to tv's and my son had a PS4 which he continually says thanks on a regular basis so I am in his good books .

To start with a very good 1 and I thank JoTarpley for sharing this company I would definitely recommend Hometestersclub as they always have relevant items to try and review .Either way good luck liztuck with your efforts into getting into product testing .

stuartsmith544 😊Thanks Stuart! x You are a good advert for product testing and I feel I should c&p your reply for future use 😂

I used to get loads to test, and it got so bad that I had to unsubscribe from some brands as it turned into a bit of a hassle and took the fun out of it, but nowadays there are sooo many more people signed up to these testing brands, and others don't allow for that, Home Tester Club alone have 4,320,296 members to date, but you do get tests so don't give up on anything, sign up to as many brands as you can, it takes a couple of minutes of your time to apply for a test, it costs you nothing, it's something for free, be grateful if you get a test and keep positive! 😀😉🤞 x

Completely true mate. The idea of the product testing companies is simple get your product tested by as many people as possible as if the product is half decent then they will have wider range of people to say you have a fantastic product and I am changing what I buy from my usual to something else . I know when I apply for any I know its a 50/50 if I am successful . I only apply for items which are relevant to me and the family and if I am successful then happy days and being in Mandy's or the kids goodbooks means I'm happy on 2 levels . When someone is less positive feel free to always tag me and I am the polar opposite to the moaning minnies .

Keep smiling mate and have a good weekend mate .

I am signed up to the Boots panel as a product tester - can go years without testing but recently tested 3 products in the space of about 6 months!
