Ten Pin Bowling is It Good for All Ages?
Ask a Question
Has anybody been Ten Pin Bowling?
Thinking about taking the family and wondered if was ok for all ages and worth the money?
I’d say it is suitable for above the age of 4/5. There are sometimes offers on, for example Tenpin do offers like 50% off on Tuesdays, 25% off on Fridays etc, see all Tenpin offers here www.tenpin.co.uk/deals/
We took our 4 yr old bowling and she used the ramp and barriers. She seemed to enjoy the first game but then got bored and kept saying she was hungry. So for us not worth the money until she’s older. We went on a Tuesday as they had an offer on.
When I did contact work parents often went bowling with their kids but as snoogans888 said the kids often got bored. I wouldn't recommend for older people unless they are fit and do regular exercise as they could easily hurt back, knees or shoulders etc.
I think it is great place to go for all ages but I do find it expensive for what you actually get. But it is a good activity for all to enjoy.
eyeballkerry I thought it was expensive but now I know they have deals on certainly it may be ok!
Usually on school holidays, we look for deals and are flexible with times to get it cheaper.
also family bowling challenge on New Year’s Eve.
im terrible, and the kids won’t let me use the ramps.
Perfect for a young family as the staff will put up long inflatable tubes down the alley making it easier for little ones to knock the pins.
I always think bowling is good whatever the age, can just put the barriers up if people want. I’ve never had a bad time bowling
My little girl is only 3 but really enjoys it, I carry the ball for her then she uses the ramp and has the bars up. I would say 2 games is plenty for her because then she'll start getting bored but it's good fun to do with her brother.
