Tesco Pulling a Fast One? 25% off Wine

Went to order some wine because Tesco has 25% off 6 bottles or more.

Now the price of my favourite is normally £8, but is currently £6.50 with a Clubcard making it ineligible for the offer due to the £7 a bottle minimum here in Wales.

What gets me is that if the price was the full price of £8 each, I'd get the 25% off making it £6 per unit, 50p cheaper than the Clubcard price.

Does this make sense? Seems a bit naughty to me.

Sainsbury's, ASDA & Morrisons also have the buy 6 get 25% so worth seeing if you can get it there? What wine is it?

emmabeckz It's Trivento Reserve Malbec.

The reason I want to use Tesco is that I have a delivery saver plan and pay a minimal amount. I'd have to pay a delivery charge for shopping at the other 3

TheChimp Its on offer same price at ASDA too at £6.50 so not in Wales - only thing I can suggest is Sainsbury's when the offer comes on if you are passing or they do free click and collect on £25+ orders Sunday to Wednesday so you can just drive up and put in the boot for you

emmabeckz Sainsbury's is quite a way from us, I'm actually quite surprised that they deliver tbh, so it would cost quite a bit in petrol.
