Do You Think Covid 19 Can Be Spread by Flying, Biting Insects?

I am no scientist/doctor but if mosquitos can carry malaria..............
I realise they are two different diseases but I wonder if the scientists have been keeping quiet on this?
I hope not... my partner has been bitten around 3000 times by midges in Scotland when walking the dogs in recent months... he’s not shown any Covid symptoms
Malaria is a parasite not a virus. There is no evidence that covid-19 can be spread by a biting insects as coronavirus in any form does not effect insects
Thanks for the clarification. I ignorantly thought that malaria was transmitted via blood when a mosquito went from one human to another.
I think we are still learning about the virus, there may be other ways it can be transmitted that we don't understand at the moment or places it can exist for longer than we realise.
I get bitten about once a week in the garden and my lower legs have many scars as I react badly to them. Relieved to know can't be passed that way as it's very hard to socially distance yourself from the little blighters!
The insects that bite most in thos country are midges and even if they had it they're that small would be unlikely they could infect us
