What Do You Think of Starbucks Rewards?

What do you think of Starbucks Rewards?
Have you ever managed to get a free coffee? Or any other rewards?
Neither have I got any rewards from Starbucks . I've deleted the app now, the Costa rewards are better but they don't do gluten free alternative milk any more .
They've always got dairy free alternatives but since they changed from alpro to the new milk it's not gluten free anymore.
I preferred the previous incarnation of Starbucks Rewards. With the current version customers need to have 150 Stars (which you'll reach when you've spent a total of £50) to get a free drink. Which isn't that great compared to other reward schemes run by their competitors. Occasionally, they'll run a promotion offering additional Stars if you purchase a certain product during a fixed time window - usually a few days.
Although, the benefits do increase if you become a regular customer. If you amass 450 Stars within a year (equivalent to spending £150) you will be elevated to Gold Level. Then you can get free extra shots of espresso added to your drink, free whipped cream topping, a free birthday drink, etc.
When you have enough Stars for a free drink you can order what you like. I usually select their largest cup size (Venti) and whatever drink I'd like on the day.
(If anyone collects points on Microsoft Bing. They can be exchanged for free £5 or £10 Starbucks e-cards/ vouchers when you get enough points. These cards can then be added to your Starbucks Rewards account)
I didn't know they had one. We don't tend to go out for coffee often and we tend to go to Costa instead.
