Which Toilet Roll Do You Buy?

Ask a Question

Which loo roll do you buy? I can't believe the prices now!

I usually get the nicky brand but try to compare price per roll first.

If I ever have an Amazon discount, gift card or they have a special on Cashback or something then I order in bulk of Presto (2-3 ply) Eco or Embossed usually, but I try not to order from Amazon if I can help it, it is just convenient.

We used to get Asda Shades quite a bit, but my partner didn't like the tear, plus it has gone up in price with everything else and we aren't that close to an Asda.

We moved closer to an Aldi and their toilet roll is decent quality and price. So the majority of the time we now just get the Saxon Soft toilet tissue.

Due to allergies we have to try and stay away from scented, people kept raving about Nicky toilet tissue, but the more I looked at the packaging of any I came across, they all seemed to have lotion or fragrance.

I am certainly trying to be much more eco friendly and check where my items come from, but can't bare to ditch the toilet roll completely. So I want to be more conscious of where it comes from and the recycling etc. But sadly with many things, the more eco friendly you seem to go often the higher the price or getting used to a different quality.

These days I buy cheap toilet rolls. As my sons roll them round their hands about 20 times. I buy packets hankies for my nose and baby wipes too.

Pinkspirit I purchased both Saxon Softer Luxury Toilet tissue and Saxon Soft White Toilet Tissue earlier today at Aldi. I will compare using them one roll at a time and then decide which one I will prefer to buy permanent.

The worst toilet rolls i've bought are these from B&M, Deluxe Oh That’s Soft Gentle Super Soft Toilet Roll 18pack. False economy, as soon as you use them your finger goes through when wet. 😦
