As always staying in tonight want to watch something good may Be a film and a glass of wine
any ideas what to 
watch?
If you give me an idea of what type of film, i.e. Romance, comedy, adventure, thriller, horror then I can probably suggest loads. Personally I cannot watch comedies or horror but prefer historical, thrillers, spy films etc.

rowley1943 ha ha, sounds like Johnny English would suit you both lol. Well, I think you will need to watch two films as political thrillers are not usually comedic. Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy starring Gary Oldman and Colin Firth is excellent. I think American ones are pretty good too, I loved Tom Hanks and Mark Rylance in Bridge of Spies and also Spy Game starring Robert Redford and Brad Pitt.
If you can both compromise and try something different, Legends of the Fall is one of my all time faves, a sweeping saga starring Anthony Hopkins, Brad Pitt and Aiden Quinn soooooo good. Also Last of the Mohicans with Daniel Day Lewis. Have a Google to find out more and see if they interest you.
I have to go to work soon but will probably think of more later.
Really depends what you have access to. If Netflix then try Fall, if you have Disney then try The Menu. I enjoyed both.
