Trains Delayed Due to a Swan on the Tracks

In the News

Normally the excuses for train delays are wet leaves on the rails , a few snow flakes, mechanical failure, fallen trees on tracks, yearly maintenance, etc etc

But this time it was a swan

He was definitely on the wrong track this time , maybe he was looking for that other track by Marc Bolen ''Ride a White Swan''

He would have been better looking for the more classical Swan Lake , whatever floats your boat , or Swan in this case

Its a good job the train didn't hit him, he would definitely have been up the swanny then 😉

Love it when wildlife causes chaos like this. Frustrating when you need to get somewhere but it also makes you slow down and calming

Jerseydrew This might have been more of a problem if he had decided to snooze on the tracks, but luckily decided to lift the barrier and cross them instead

I mean surely someone could have just chased it off, if i was on the train i’d have got off and done it myself
