I always buy my passes from ebay, the code gets emailed to you instantly. Dont think ive ever paid full price so for us its worth it. You can dip in & out aswell, I’ve not had the entertainment pass for a while but Game of Thrones is back soon so I’ll be subscribing again x

It's worth knowing that Argos sell the passes for less than NOW TV's prices. It can be a bit "IFFY" buying the passes on Ebay. (especially promotional passes which can only be used ONCE by each person)

A tip when using a pass is to cancel a few days before expiration (to avoid auto renewal) NOW will often make a special offer. It's important to take up that offer before old pass expires.

I'm currently on three months for price of one on Cinema Pass - for the second time.

I have a month Sports pass ready for World Cup cricket in May - £33.99 from NOW but £25 at Argos. I got mine with a new NOW stick (not used yet) but cost less than £30 at Argos. I'm building up a collection of the boxes and sticks it can actually save to buy them with the passes.

ZillaFrith You probably already know, but others might not, that once your account is set up you don't need an active pass to continue using for other things, I went some months just using it for catch up of main TV channels, TouTube and some other channels. I had a two month Cinema pass I'd bought with a box (£15 from Argos over a year before) that brought that spell to an end.

I checked that out and found this which might be of interest to others. It confirms some things I said about canceling to get discounts. https://www.moneysavingexpert.com/news/2019/02/now-tv-s-sport-pass-prices-have-gone-up---check-if-you-can-beat-/

Also, if you have a pass eg movies or entertainment, if you go on now tv website and cancel you pass, they usuall offer you a reduced price. You can accept it and choose to cancel at the end of your offer and get offered another reduced price.

I had Now TV a few years ago and only had the movie subscription. I wanted the entertainment and kids packages yet I would have just added up. Also I found the movies were not updated with enough content so I got to a point where there was nothing to watch. Other services do the job better in my opinion yet in the past few years they may have got better?

I wouldn't pay full price for the Movies either, most of the time I just use NOW for things there's no charge for. If I want to watch films I must have hundreds of DVDs I've not watched. One of the films I enjoyed most on NOW "Step Brothers" there were two DVDs of (still in celophane) amongst hundreds of others Four for a pound in a charity shop.

Kids and entertainment is now joined as one subscription, we also have movies at points. There are often lots of offers floating around but quite often you'll get the best offer when you go to cancel it with Nowtv. They'll give you half price offers ect to keep you subscribed.

It's better than Live TV aka "Freeview," but that's as far as it goes. Now with HBO, Disney, Netflix, Hulu, SHO, Peacock, etc it really doesn't stand a chance.

Some people or a lot I might say, stay loyal to the TV License because they don't understand how TVL works and are scared of canceling it.

The wording used is meant to mislead people, very deceitful and scumbag move.

We use Now TV a lot always on a discount they offer. Anyone getting fed up with the amount of adverts they put on there? It seems to be always the same advert as well.
