Has anyone used UniBond No More Nails - Removable Strips.
Do they stick on without falling off after some time
Although I've tried various "no more nails" products - with varying success rates, I don't think I've tried uniBond. So can't really pass judgement... HOWEVER:
I fail to understand why so many companies are trying to stop the use of nails, I find not only are six inch nails and a big hammer far more effective, but much cheaper too.
I have often used the nails and hammer technique when hanging pictures - and no picture has fallen off any of my walls (yet) furthermore with a little ingenuity you can hang the picture in such a way that it hides any cracks in the plasterwork. (you might need another picture for directly above)
Hope that helps - and if you want any more DIY advice please don't hesitate to ask
Thank you. Companies do it for the money but it does cause less mess.
I wanted something to stick the Extendable Net Rod as the tesa double sides foam pad keeps falling off only in my bathroom but not in the rest of the rooms.

Perhaps some people don't like to ruin their walls by hammering six inch nails into it or the possibility of striking a live electrical wire.
Companies are not trying to stop the use of nails, you can still buy six inch nails and a hammer at DIY stores, they aren't banned so not sure where you got that from.
zerocenturyzero I've had problems with those extendable rods in the past (I assume yours is spring loaded).
I have just thought what might be a better solution and have just tried it out. SUCCESSFULLY
If the place the rods end are wooden get two plastic bottle tops make a small hole for a screw (dead centre) in each and screw the bottle tops to the inside of the window frame. (open end outward). Amazingly the bottle tops could have been made to fit the ends of the rod, the narrower end fits perfectly into the inner ring of bottle top.
If the inner side of the window frame is not wood you could try sticking the bottle tops on to the receiving surface with epoxy glue. (still make holes in bottle top to make a good connection).
rids57 It appears humour is lost on some. I have little faith in "no nails" compounds I have however come up with what might be a better solution (no nails required - but two small screws and two bottle tops)
davidstockport I don't see how that was remotely funny at all. Rather dated sense of humour in fact.
rids57 If you didn't find it remotely funny - may I ask why you put a laughing face after it?
I hope you liked my serious attempt to help which "crossed in the post".
davidstockport Smiley face + not funny = sarcasm.
Anyway some flats have restrictions on hammering or drilling into walls so these "no more nails" products fit the bill.
Horses for courses and all that.
davidstockport Mines is the one where you use the Net Rod Stick-On Hooks with the rod.
Well I thought it was funny but then my sense of humour is also dated........but I do laugh at the jokes of the younger generation.
Got to mention this: back in 1990 I was in a holiday apartment in Malta with my late fiancée - suddenly, for no apparent reason, the side fell off what looked like a very expensive sideboard. When reported they sent the "handy man" (he lived locally). He looked at it (no word spoken) opened a big wooden tool box - all that was in it was a big hammer and some massive nails "Crash Bang Wallop!" it was fixed - he then left (still not a word spoken) . I could have done a better job with chewing gum - we laughed about it for many years.
I had wrongly assumed that the extendable rod was similar to the one I had (which was supposed to hold by compression between two upright points).
I have found (via YouTube) that the Unibond Removable Strips are quite reliable (not sure why they call them removable when it usually requires a solvent to get them off) That solvent is WD40.
zerocenturyzero I'm not sure - but as said strips are supposedly permanent unless you use WD40 to take them off.
I assume if both surfaces are clean and solid it's worthwhile giving it a try. It seemed to have worked in this video
davidstockport I will buy the Unibond Removable Strips and use WD40 when I want to remove them. Thanks for sharing the video many thanks
