Vandals Ruin Alottment

Other

There's a lady who had an alottment and growing food to feed local people. It got trashed by vandals and ruined her hard work. It's awful. I've shared the text from the go fund me page rather then the link. I can attached the link if people ask but I don't want people thinking I'm put pressure on them to donate. It just made feel sad

Hi my name is Carly, I have Multiple Sclerosis & Lupus. I know how hard its going to be this winter with cost of living .So I transformed my garden into an allotment to provide those on benefits, pensioners on state pension & those on a low income FREE organic fruit an vegetables plus essentials. They receive a large box that contains essentials plus enough food, fruit, vegetables, pasta, rice, breakfast etc for the amount of people in the household.

I made all the planters from old wood & I grow everything from seed. I’m on disability so I have to keep the cost down. I can’t sit back & watch people struggle; not being able to feed their kids or go without food so they can have the heating on. Last year I went without heating, having MS with no heating is horrific. Why are we left to live like this?

Update** ❤️ Now you have seen how hard I work to get this project up and running. FB a meal on me with love

I fund everything myself or I hound companies to help . What I raise goes straight back into ‘a meal on me’. I’d love to be able to raise enough to get the things I need to make a difference to others lives. Equipment to make and tea and coffee area, Equipment to clear weeds like a petrol strimer, A cooking area using gas as we don’t have electric. And money to lay weed sheeting. The more I raise, the more things I’m able to get to make this work. Please donate and give me a hand. I have single-handedly fed 190 people, transformed my whole garden into an allotment, I’ve now got the council on my side AND I’m now a runner of a good size piece of land, all in 4 months!! . I KNOW this project can help so many people plus bring our community closer together. Support me

Do they have any idea who the vandals were? I'd have them working 200 hours on a farm with a ball and chain attached to make up for the losses they have caused.

Tempting as it is don't think we allowed to do due to human rights. Ridiculous isn't it

I really hope the vandals are found and shamed. Its such a unnecessary and vile act against someone who is genuinely trying to help their community.

I don't understand how she knew the vandals used 5kg of salt. That's a heavy load to carry around
