Whats the Best Hand Cream You Are Using?
Ask a Question
It’s that time again when the weather suddenly changes to autumn season and gets even colder when it’s winter and you find that your hands are getting drier too!!
Hate when it gets worse that the skin cracks and gets all red and sometimes itchy too!
Which hand creams do you use that’s great for dry and flaky skin?
Haha I have a few different ones that I buy when I see on sale to stock up as I wash my hands with soap a lot!
I make my own for dry skin using what I have at home - a body lotion base mixed with a carrier oil (like grapeseed, sweet almond or neem). If I'm not doing anything for a while, I'll just use the carrier oil and wait for my hands to absorb it
kitty88uk the garnier hand intensive 7 days is amazing! I suffer with eczema too and it helps with that as well ! X
I use handcream from The Body Shop. It is maybe a little more expensive but it works for me. I tend to buy it when I've got a voucher for Christmas. I also find wearing gloves outside helps to stop the cold getting to them and making them even worse.
When my hands get really dry and cracked i use O’keeffes which is a bit expensive but it lasts long and it works well.
Other than that I use hemp handcream from the body shop
jms19 ...I buy O'Keeffe's ,got the gift set ready to give as a present to one of my friend's family. They love the outdoors & are often out exploring, they are currently in Belgium with their son 12,he's my godson..
I use L’Occitane hand creams, over the years I’ve found these ones are amazing for me to keep my hands crack free. Used to suffer really badly with cracked skin but don’t anymore.
I have a gel on prescription. I wash my hands a lot too. I think when they start to crack I will use a bit of Vaseline too.
Clarins hand cream is divine and smells nice too.
Soap & Glory Hand Food hand cream has a lovely marshmallow smell. I carry a mini in my bag.
Neutrogena hand cream is another fave. Buy it when on offer.
Not a fan of the Clarins 8hr creams though. Don't like the smell of it!
Vaseline is an old but good remedy too.
dudessfern Vaseline I have been using as a kid! Haha and the lip balms are great too!
You should see the many face and body creams I have stocked up when they were on offer! Lmao
Ooh the marshmallow cream sounds delicious
I'm currently using a Burt's Bees lavender and honey which was a gift and it's really nice.
On my YouthTraining Scheme in 1983 I worked with a lovely Maltese Supervisor ,a qualified Chef who told me that he used butter & sugar to keep his hands soft
janphoenix51 lol I’ve never heard that before! How odd haha have you tried it yourself to see it if it works?!!
