Working from Home?

Help

My boss has recently decided to stop my regular wfh and make it on an add hoc basis 😞 really gutted as traffic is a nightmare and commuting expensive if I don't drive. What kind of thing do people say to get a regular day?

Are you contracted to work from home or employed as someone who would be working from home? If you are, you could negotiate perhaps a change in hours to avoid peak times or wage increase to cover your travelling expenses. If not, and your employer has explained why they need you in the office it is not an unreasonable request.

I believe I'm contracted to work in the office, I had an agreement to work from home every Friday after returning from maternity leave to pick up my Child from playschool

francescarobert A verbal agreement can be considered as an agreement especially if it was negotiated following maternity leave. Sounds like you have a reasonable employer if they agreed to this initially so I suggest you discuss it with them.
