ASDA Christmas Savings Bonus Card - Get Up To 5% Extra Spend Online & In Store
I thought that this was well worth a mention as Christmas can be quite expensive and this year with predicted food shortages and people looking to buy early, this is a great way of maximising your money when there are very few offers on.
Asda run a Christmas Savings Card and you can top up as little or as much as you want each week when you are in there doing your shopping. You can top it up online and at checkouts in store including self scan and scan and go too. This year, you can also schedule payments online from your bank account if you want to top up every pay day.
You just need to pick up a card in store or you can order one online >>HERE
If ordering online, make sure you select "Gift Card" not eGift so a physical card is sent
Then, make sure you register it online if you pick up in store to protect your balance (This stops you loosing your money if you loose or misplace your card)
This year the card can be spent both online and in store so if you want some toys, clothing, furniture or electricals as well as groceries, you can now do this.
You can save up to a maximum of £485 on one savings card but you only need to have £280 on it to get the maximum £15 bonus and you can have as many cards as you like so if you have more than £280, its worth getting another card and spreading it across 2 or more to maximise your extra bonus cash.
The qualifying date to get the bonus is 5pm 21st November and you get the following amounts added to your card by 9am on 22nd November ready to spend ahead of Christmas. You get this bonus even if you get a new card and top up before 5pm on the 21st so you can get the bonus without having to save all year and you only need as little as £30 on your card to get a bonus amount added.
- Save £280+ and receive a £15 bonus
- Save £230-£279 and receive a £12 bonus
- Save £180-£229 and receive a £9 bonus
- Save £130-179 and receive a £6 bonus

with my £20 payment from the government now gone I'm going to try hard to save the £130 so as to get the £6

That is what I always do. Usually confuses the checkout staff who tell me I am not allowed to do that
