ASDA are now price matching BOTH Aldi and Lidl, whichever is the cheapest is the price that you will pay in ASDA so you shouldn't have to go to multiple supermarkets to get the best prices. The prices are available both online and in store, just look for the red price match tick.

Q1: What is Aldi & Lidl Price Match?

Answer: This is a supermarket price match where we have matched the prices of 100s of selected products at Asda against comparable Aldi & Lidl products.

Q2: Do you match Aldi or Lidl prices?

Answer: We check the price of selected comparable products in-store at both Aldi & Lidl in England, Scotland and Wales twice a week and match whichever has the cheapest price. We do not compare in Northern Ireland. Alcohol product prices are compared in England only due to minimum unit pricing in Scotland and Wales, but the Asda price in Scotland and Wales will either be the same as England or the price set by minimum unit pricing.

Q3: How do you check Aldi’s & Lidl’s prices?

Answer: We check prices of the comparable products twice a week in Aldi & Lidl stores. We match the individual advertised price of each product, excluding any multi-buy offers, and take into account any reasonable size or weight difference through applying a pro-rata unit price based on Asda’s product. We do not take into consideration any ‘member prices’. Q4: Where can I find Asda Aldi & Lidl Price Match products?

Answer: The products we match may vary by week. They can be found in many Asda stores but not in Asda Express stores. In our stores look out for the Price Match tick and to shop online click on the ‘Product List and Verification’ link above for a full list of products in Price Match. If shopping in advance please check the latest information prior to your delivery or collection date as Price Match comparisons are made twice weekly. Our products’ availability varies by store and all products are subject to availability.
