Just bought myself one of the Russell Hobbs Athena RHUV5501 in Asda today its in the special Christmas electricals section near the tills along with Nespresso coffee machine deals and other electrical deal specials - lady told me they will sell out quick so get yersel doon the local Asda quick snap up an electrical bargain!
Brilliant deal only £40.
Still to test it out see if it sucks or sucks though!

Just used it and boy does is suck (in a good way) it almost lifted the underlay and carpet up lol
One downside for old folks is that requires a strong push due to the high vacuum strength and for lifting hairs its amazing it almost beats the Amazonbasics Upright Vacuum Cleaner with High Efficiency Motor [AB500], Bagless, 3.0 L, 700 Watt i bought last year but it has the ability to alter the suction and a few other little extras its probably the best hoover i have owned but it was £55 amazon warehouse deal its usually £79.99 so this one is half the price and almost as good!
Hope that helps you decide - its easy to take stuff back at Asda anyway if it sucks (in a bad way for ya)!
