Aldi Slashes Prices of Turkeys and Festive Veg
Budget retailer has cut the prices of its’ Christmas veg and turkeys as the Christmas draws closer.
From Wednesday 20th December, you can Aldi’s fresh produce for just 19p, making it the cheapest supermarket to get your Christmas veg from.
Potatoes, brussel sprouts, parsnips and broccoli are down to just 19p, while potatoes and swedes are just 28p. This comes after ASDA reduced its vegetables to 20p.
Julie Ashfield, Joint Managing Director of Corporate Buying at Aldi, said, “Here at Aldi, we’re committed to ensuring our customers get everything they need for Christmas dinner at unbeatable prices.
“What’s more, we’ve been named Fresh Produce Supermarket of the Year at FPC Awards for the third year running, so customers can rest assured that their festive feast will be of the highest quality.”
Aldi have also lowered the price on their Fresh British turkeys to their lowest price yet.
A Fresh British whole turkey is now £3.89 per kilo, down from £3.95, and a Fresh British turkey crown is £6.49 per kilo, down from £6.79.
Aldi have normal opening hours until Christmas Eve, where stores shut at 4pm.
