Paperchase Is Making A Comeback With This UK Supermarket
Hello Deal Hunters!
Got a love for stationary and vibrant cards? Tesco is rebooting Paperchase, a favourite for many! The beloved gifts and stationary chain was saved by Tesco earlier this year after facing some hard times and shutting all 106 of its outlets.
Levi Winchester at The Mirror reported that after Paperchase's struggles, Tesco swooped in, securing the brand and intellectual rights. The good news is, we can now enjoy their products during our weekly Tesco shop.
For those with a sharp eye, the branding has already been spotted in a few Tesco locations. Bryan Roberts, a retail pundit, mentioned some aisles being jazzed up with catchy "Colour coming soon” signs. So, if you spot a rainbow in your local Tesco, you know what's up!
The official word from Tesco reads: “Having acquired the Paperchase brand back in January, we look forward to bringing this well-loved name to Tesco and are excited to launch a range of Paperchase products in selected stores and online in the coming weeks.”
And for the stationery aficionados, Tesco’s website is making the wait even harder, announcing: "Paperchase, exclusively for Tesco, is coming online and to a store near you."
A bit of history for you – Paperchase was brought to life in 1968 and has had its ups and downs over the years. However, its unique offerings have always been dear to many.
To wrap things up, Tom Church, Co-Founder of shopping community LatestDeals.co.uk, commented, "It's always heartening to see beloved brands find a new lease of life. Tesco's move to reintegrate Paperchase gives fans and budget-savvy shoppers another reason to look forward to their grocery trips." So, keep those eyes peeled, Deal Hunters, and happy shopping!
I remember going into a branch of Paperchase in my town centre many, many years ago, and their prices was double what Asda or Wilko was selling the same products for. I will be looking at what Tesco is selling Paperchase products for.
