Is Anyone Going to Watch the Womens World Cup Final

Ask a Question

I cannot find my post I posted a few weeks ago to update it, but they have got to the final. Good luck to the Lionesses.

Arriba España!

Being in Wales, we're absolutely sick of this Lionesses nonsense.

The whole tournament has been p*ss poor tbh. A decent u15 boys team would smash any of teams that have played in the womens World Cup. Harsh, but true.

TheChimp That's probably true about the Under 15s but hardly the point. The Welsh team tried and failed to reach the World Cup but failed in the qualification round. I enjoy watching women's tennis but probably would be weaker against the men, physically not quite as strong, less height to produce as strong aces although woman can have good stamina.

People watch local games of football from small towns and compared to the premier leagues the games are poor but that doesn't stop people enjoying it.

As ever you come across as a small minded bitter individual but I'm sure you realise that.

BonzoBanana Thank you for your long winded insight like usual.

I think that you'll find that it's not just the Welsh, Scots or Irish that want to see the English lose, but most of the world.

I don't speak a lot of the Welsh language and that was because we were governed by the English back in the 70s.

Please don't be telling me that I'm small minded because you have no clue.

TheChimp You are most definitely small minded and bitter. I've seen so many of your childish pathetic posts over time here responding to other posters in a very immature way its just your nature. Your comment again 'Most of the world want to see the English lose' is another of your classic nutjob posts, most people in the world just want their own team to win and have little interest in the English either way. However that is indicative of what is going on in your mind and how you perceive the world to suit your own biased agenda.

Ultimately I don't know if England will win this match and my life won't change either way. Yes I would like to see them win but it may not happen. I'm proud that they got to the final. To be honest I've not watched a single Spain match so don't know what they are up against. Life is too short to get worked up or bitter about a football match. I'm half Cornish, half English because the Cornish still see themselves as having their own identity. Cornwall used to be called 'West Wales' as its pretty much the same tribal Celtic people who originated from the area around Germany. So I support Wales as my secondary national team just because of the strong Celtic connection. It feels right to me.

BonzoBanana Good evening Gobshite.

How are you feeling after the game?

I just read your nonsense post, couldn't be bothered earlier.

So you class yourself as a Celt because you're 'half Cornish'? Please don't make me laugh. 🤣

I have not interest in football whatsoever so I will not be watching. Plus I am not working in my daughters pub today so definitely will not see or hear it.

I'll definitely be watching.

And since "...most of the world" want to see England lose, it will be all the sweeter if we win.

I will not reply to the other comments individually as I feel I would be shot down .

Yes we're watching. My son is very excited to support the women's England football team. They have achieved a huge amount whether they win or lose today and our a great inspiration to the next generations.

It's playing in the background, but I wouldn't say I am watching it, as I am not a football fan.

Don't care about men's soccer so much less women's. Well, watching it for comedy's sake is not too bad. 😆
