Having a Bad Day - Tell me about yours
Other
We all have them. Today has been one of those evetything going wrong kinda days. Tell me about your bad days please so i dont feel so bad haha
joannecroston a few years back I was determined to finish decorating our lounge in time for Christmas, the pressure was on. Finally, my daughter told me that after burning my toe with the steamer, hitting my shin with a hammer and slicing my thumb with a scraper - I should leave the decorating to the men and stick to making cards and cakes!! I was not impressed Hopefully that's cheered your bad day up
Oh dear, that woukd spur me on even more. Im more of an independant i dont need a man kind of person. I do have a partner but i often tell him im with him because i love him and i want him bit because i need him x
joannecroston exactly, that's why she annoyed me, lol. She wasn't around when I lived with her dad for 8 years and did all the decorating, electrics, plumbing, lol, he couldn't do anything practical. I was just having a bad day
I tried to put up a stair gate yesterday! My husband and I spent ages figuring out the instructions. Took me an hour to put it up, i asked my husband come to check I had done it right and he said it needs to be tighter on this side, tightened it and it came away from the wall! I couldn't get it back on, turns out it is too small for our stairs! I was not a happy bunny!
Please be careful with stairs gates, especially if up the top of stairs. Years ago my daughter pushed on one and down went the stair gate and down went she, luckily no injuries.
eyeballkerry I'm getting extensions to make sure it fits properly. My husband will make sure that it is secure and does not move at all! I'm glad your daughter wasn't hurt
MrsCraig stair gates are a nightmare. Just to let u know as well argos have recalled all cuggl gates as they arent safe x
joannecroston I saw that, I didn't buy a cuggl, I got a safety first gate. Which is now fitted as I bought the extenders this afternoon! I won't deny that I feel rather proud of myself x
I tend to have bad weeks... on Monday, I broke my finger playing netball, which has meant i can’t play our Christmas tournament next week (I broke it first in April, just before the summer tournament and couldnt play), then yesterday my body decided to give me an infection because a broken finger isn’t enough, two of my radiators have stopped working, my gearbox in my car has pretty much stopped working....and it’s only Thursday
Work got too much and i let stress take over, and i ended up in hospital. Ive been diagnosed with anxiety. Made me realise that i need to not let work overload me, and say no.
Definately take a step back. Ive suffered anxiety and deoression fir years, im doing ok at the moment but ive not done in the past its a horrendous illness to deal with x
joannecroston completely agree, and unfortunately it takes some thing like this to make you realise. I'm changing careers which i also think will help. Take care
Everyday is a bad day for me. Chronic pain and chronic fatigue so I don’t get out. Today had a all day migraine too so it’s been horrific
Oh no. I have chronic pain too so i ubderstand that part. Migraines are horrible so debilitating x
2 day migraine with vomiting on top of the chronic pain and chronic fatigue.
Having a horrible time lately
last year to the day car broke down and I almost missed a family holiday. So newer car had to be bought and because I travel back roads alone I ordered a Battery jump starter last month just in case. Neighbour has stolen it been trying to get it for past month to find they have moved - with my stuff. This morning waited to receive my brothers Birthday, friends wedding and last of my christmas presents to find Hermes have delivered early- a different neighbour accepted delivery. Went round and they denied all knowledge. When explained I had signature they said someone else had collected them- I live alone! Value of goods taken exceeds £600. Needed to buy Birthday card and calm down jumped in car - you can see where this is going eh? DEAD BATTERY. 3hrs and over a hundred pounds later I sat in my now working car and cried..........!
Sheesh thats not good. How disgusting they stole your stuff can you claim it from the company who delivered it
