Bad Winter, Good Summer?
Ask a Question
Can’t remember the old adage “Bad winter, good summer”.
I may well have it the wrong way round, but not too sure. Does anyone know what the saying is?
I know the saying “ne’er cast a clout ‘til May is out” but really want to know does a good summer tend to follow a bad winter?
Not heard that saying for a while..i thought we may get a good summer after the long winter...(we had snow yesterday)..but now everything is opening up again..i am thinking the pollution may have an effect on it being a good one.
Everything is good as long as this 4th wave of covid keeps away dirty nasty horrible virus
BlueEyesX sorry I don’t know but it’d be good to know if this sharp, cold snap means we’re more likely to have a hot summer. It’d be nice to have something to look forward to
