Banned Olympic Swimming Cap Now Approved

In the News

The so called 'soul cap' has finally been approved to cover afro hair in swimming

A lot bulkier than the normal skull caps most swimmers use because it has to cover the volume of hair of afro styles

I really don't see a problem with this, and why it wasn't approved sooner

It cannot be as advantageous as the normal cap is as it isn't as streamlined, in fact it could slow the swimmer down enough to lose milliseconds in a race

MelissaLee1963 The swimmers had only two options M, shave all their hair off or cover it, at least the officials saw sense in the end

Although i dont think even the new cap would cover this volume
