Brad Pitt Awarded Joint Custody of Children. Good or Bad Decision?

In the News

Angelina Jolie had not objected to joint custody but there were "other issues of concern". She criticised the judge's decision not to allow their children to testify in the custody hearings.A large number of witnesses, experts and therapists were involved in the trial.

The children in question range from 17 years to 12 year old twins. Surely even the youngest must have an opinion? I wonder how the children feel and if they consider this the right decision?

Odd that the children were not allowed to testify themselves, even if it was in private by video link. They’re certainly old enough to have an opinion 🤷‍♀️. As usual, the only winners are the lawyers 💵 💰

HappyTravels . I understand that the other issues of concern was drink and drugs.

Apparently Brad has cleaned up his act. He has actively sought greater access of the children concerned.

Can you give custody of someone who is 17? I would of thought such a person could completely ignore the ruling and do whatever they like.

BonzoBanana Yes, I would have thought so too. Perhaps obstacles were put in Brad Pitt’s way e.g the children staying in another country

BonzoBanana good point, a stroppy teenager could flip flop their choices all day long.
