What Breakfast Do You Eat Everyday?
Ask a Question
Do you prefer to cook your breakfast such as porridge, scrambled egg etc or do you just grab something on the go or just quickly have a bowl of cereal? I'm not really a morning person so I'll grab some fruit and probably one of many different cereals/muesli.
Ceebers I usually have mine with coconut milk but I noticed that different brands have slightly different texture. .?or is it just me
jurgita0712 Awwwwwwwww
I hope that the production of your coconut milk doesn't use slave monkeys
jurgita0712 I normally choose Eat Natural that is gluten-free. Just a lifestyle choice, I am trying to cut down on gluten in my diet. Although I did steam into the Yankee Bundles deal for Jordans Museli; 5 boxes for ยฃ5.
I wasn't so keen on the Deliciously Ella gluten-free granola. A bit more pricey for what you get.
Lots to choose from. I have thought about making my own, but to be fair, that probably would work out more expensive.
Xx
I have zero appetite till the afternoon so just forget to eat, but do drink plenty of water. I know its bad but my meds kill my appetite
neo1 especially if you take meds you should have something.. even just a banana or some yoghurt... otherwise you get huge spike of glucose at once when you eat first. Which isn't very good for you.
I struggle to eat in the morning, however I know it is important to have some thing so usually have fruit and yogurt as goes down easier.
RegularComper90 They are soo nice arent they! I havent tried the fruit and nut one yet, might try that next time its on offer!
i like to have tea and toast, or sometimes a fry up is well needed to get me started for the day
Same here I'm not a morning person and only because of work I manage to get up to eat breakfast. It's usually cereal like cornflakes, branflakes and now Weetabix. Weekends I like any breakfast made with egg or if I'm in a generous mood pancakes
I like to have coffee/tea and toast or porridge, on weekends I tend to do something different like an omelette or pancakes.
Love breakfast, usually some toast&a banana, porridge with fruit or if I'm lucky some croissants I never go without breakfast x
Cereal, and on weekends I like to have something sweet like french toast or pancakes, with Nutella. I go through loads a month!
lauren59161 sometimes I have same cereals for weeksbut then I might change up and have pancakes or waffles
jurgita0712 to be honest im still enjoying it. So I won't change until I'm bored of it lol
I don't eat breakfast. I generally cant stomach food first thing. I do start the day with a cup of coffee, occasionally I will have sliced banana & honey on toast if I can manage.
djpatchy666 with black pudding and all the trimmings? Does it not make you a bit sleepy after?
jurgita0712 all the trimmings I love black pudding too. Straight to the gym then to burn it off if not yes very sleepy
Imnotcheap do you have to get up really early? You could grab a banana or some oats bar on the go? Or make a smoothie the night before?
I get up at 7 then running around getting Kids ready for school (usually during lock down managed a coffee before school) not hungry first thing any way. I've also found if I eat early I eat more in the day jurgita0712
Imnotcheap for me if I don't eat breakfast then I'm just grazing all morning ... I did homeschooling...I need holiday now
Imnotcheap I know it just feels like there's endless laundry, washing up, hoovering etc..
to much.... i eat to much lol.
on a serious note, breakfast is usually eggs maybe some bacon.
lunch is usually rice crackers or crisp breads
dinner usually consists of chicken and other bits lol
Breakfast is the most important meal of the day and it is also my favourite I either go for toast if in a hurry or I like only multi grain cereal
Porridge is really the only cereal I have in the house most of the time so will have that occasionally.
BonzoBanana do you cook yours on a hob or in a microwave? I had some disasters in microwave even I did it for the time it said on the packet!
BlueOrchid I've got a Sharp microwave which has got some sort of smooth wave or something so actually cooks porridge really well. My mother in contrast has a cheap microwave that always has the porridge going over the side of the bowl. So I pretty much always use a microwave but very occasionally will use a saucepan just for the novelty I think.
I love treacle in porridge but don't have any treacle in the house as I'm trying to avoid using it so use stevia sweetener with my porridge. I do mix in some sultanas occasionally though.
BonzoBanana mines Sharp too. I only bought it about a month ago. I find that if cook it 1min less than suggested it turns out fine... but then again it's got so many settings and I just tend to use basic one rather than messing around with it.
I like maple syrup. Quite often I use it in cooking too to replace sugar. Or honey. I seen they started selling agave nectar in shops too but I havent tried that one yet.
BlueOrchid Yeah my Sharp microwave is also feature packed and I rarely use anything other than the microwave but it has a grill and oven and you can combine different elements together, i.e. nuke a pizza in 4 minutes by grilling and microwaving at the same time.
I'm not really one for breakfast, I don't really eat it at all.
But if I do, I'll cook a full fry-up for me and wife. I don't have it that often, but you can't beat a bit of fried bread
I rarely wake up in time for a breakfast, would say I am ready by brunch. I prefer toast and tea!
its toast or biscuits in a morning in my home the only time anyone wants to eat cereal is on a night for some reason
usually a coffee and a yoghurt, sometimes muesli. at weekends have boiled eggs or air fried bacon/sausage
I normally have porridge, muesli or granola and some Earl Grey Tea.
Although, if I can find some I wouldn't mind trying the Dunkinโ (Donuts) Mocha Latte or Caramel Macchiato cereal. This could save time in the morning by combining your coffee and cereal Can't imagine they are very healthy and surprised to see them promoting the artificial flavours.
ACR I'm guessing that might be for USA market... they have all sorts of crazy flavours there...
BlueOrchid they are, but there are quite a lot of shops in the UK selling unhealthy American products like these. Hopefully, this cereal (and Eggo waffles) will eventually be available in the UK.
