Diffusers Can Be Poisonous to Dogs
In the News
While browsing the news i spotted this article in an online newspaper edition called euroweekly
I never knew a diffuser could potentially harm animals
This particular one contained tea tree oil , one of the more dangerous ones
So worth thinking about if considering using one in the home
I've always thought this strange because you can buy diffusers especially for pets.I wonder how they differ if indeed at all.
MelissaLee1 I think it is only certain diffusers M , i suspect the manufacturers have tested the doggy ones for allergic reactions to animals, possibly the normal ones have a disclaimer on the pack concerning animals, having only been tested on humans
Telmel, we were going to get some, but after doing research on them, we decided not to for the same reason you mentioned
I've heard this before when I had my dogs I'd always check to make sure it was safe for my pets
I never knew this. I don’t have any dogs at the moment but my daughter has three French bulldogs and uses plug in ones. I will pass this on to her.
eyeballkerry Hope the info helps E, i would hate to see anyones pets harmed because of these items
I use tea tree oil and mixed with Rosemary oil it is extremely good for getting rid of lice and much nicer than chemicals for children. I use it mainly as an antiseptic but good job I don't have a dog as I did not know it was harmful to them.
