What Do You Eat for Breakfast When You Are Diabetic?
Ask a Question
Does anyone have any suggestions for breakfast ideas for someone who has been told that they might have type 2 diabetes (I'm guessing the usual toast and cereal isn't a good idea)?

I am type 2 diabetic, cereal is OK as long as you avoid the sugar or honey coasted ones. I have 1 shredded wheat with semi skimmed milk and of course no sugar. My Diabetic nurse approved when I told her.

Reply1You could have 2 poached eggs with some brown bread or perhaps an omelette. You do need to have a small amount of carbs just not too much. Don't go full Atkins
