Do You Insert Your TV Remotes inside Silicone Cases / Bags?
Ask a Question
Sorta like this:
I apply to all my TV remotes so the buttons don't lose their symbols and such, plus, if someone spills a liquid it won't ruin the remote. Oh, and the battery cover nevet goes missing as it's in there.
It's just convenient like this.
That it such a great idea, I wish I had known about these bags before. It also prevents the remotes from harbouring germs as you can change the bags easily
No I don’t do this, three reasons, I have never had the problem with symbols disappearing, no one has ever split liquid on them and the only one who touches them is my husband!
That's fine, each to their own.
In a way, I guess folks don't like the idea much like those who "seal" a sofa to remain brand new or something.
PhilipMarc seal a sofa !!! I have never heard of this either. Where exactly do you you live. Is it the uk ?
Definitely not we have not had any problems and the symbols disappearing and no one has spilt any liquid on them
I have never heard of anyone doing this before. I have never had any issues with the symbols disappearing and no one has ever spilled anything on them, despite having a toddler!
I never get to touch the tv remote control, but I do like thinking. Prevention is always better than cure.
My mum has always done this and I used to be so embarrassed when my friends would come round and they'd see the remote like that. But it's a great idea
What a good idea, I have seen remote controls with the symbols missing and this cover would certainly prevent this from happening,
wow ive never herd of that before it is such a great idea especially with communal remotes that are used by all.
