How Can I Create an Impressive Party Backdrop?

Ask a Question

Any ideas for creating the perfect party backdrop? Is it worth investing in a stand to hold up backdrops? if I do this, it's just another thing to store in a corner somewhere...or should I stick to a balloon arch? Party fringe curtains? Any recommendations on what you use/reuse would be welcome Image

If its something you will only use once I wouldn't invest in it. We've a charity where I am that you can hire party equipment out. This includes plates cups helium balloons fancy dress and other random bits. Is there anything like that where you are?

That's so sensible to hire things. Will have a look around👍🏼

Mskaur - save your money and don't bother hiring or buying something you will only use once.

I make my own balloon arches, you can buy balloons on eBay and watch YouTube for tutorials but they are straightforward. It is time consuming blowing up the balloons but the end results look impressive if you have the time.

We never had backdrops or balloon arches. We had a banner and some balloons put in the corners. I wouldn't waste my money on one, especially if it will only be used once. Have a look to see if there is somewhere that hires out backdrops.

Have a look for some inspiration on Amazon or Ebay or maybe look at making something yourself.

Honestly I'd say it depends on the party. What's suitable for one situation isn't suitable for another.
