Pens for Freezer Bags?

Ask a Question

Would an ordinary permanent marker type pen be ok or do you need to buy something called a freezer pen?

I've used sharpies before and they were fine so I don't see why you couldn't use permanent marker.

Hi, thanks for the tag Ann1984 I was as you say looking more for container labels which I got from Amazon, Innoveem freezer labels, just what I wanted. They stay on in the freezer and easily peel off.

However, I have got some Sainsburys bags for sandwich/freezer and the cloudy box takes biro very well so I don't use any sort of special pen, hope this helps Sarahvwomble

I just use an ordinary ballpoint pen on my freezer bags. Work fine and no need to wait on them drying etc.
