Should Plastic Bags Be Banned?
Ask a Question
Before the pandemic hit, I feel like we were actually getting somewhere with delaying climate change.
I know they put a price to plastic bags to 5p but it still doesn't stop many people buying them and ending up in the sea. So I think plastic bags should be ditched altogether and we can buy cloth bags instead?
What fo you think?
They should be yes, but atm with so many people doing online food shopping its going to be difficult. But im sure if one supermarket started to set a trend with say strong cardboard bags then the others would follow
They should be, but as people seem to be wearing disposable masks and gloves these days, with a lot of them ending up as litter...it was like 1 step forward and 3 steps back
Yes, there's no need to use plastic bags. There are biodegradable alternatives which could be used also.
Definitely, but when people ordering food online ,shop could use cardboard boxes instead of plastic bags
I think we should even go a step further and ban the use of plastic in all forms of packaging where it’s possible. Most of it is simply unnecessary and also harmful.
First they ban plastic bags, and then they'll say how cloth bags are bad, too. It just never ends.
Earth has been through far worse than plastic yet people are acting like plastic will kill us all. We'll "go" while Mother Earth will preserve herself.
