How do you think you lot will be effected? Channel Islands have basically locked down. Schools are shut tomorrow possibly Friday. No boats for a week and supermarkets now empty. People panic buying and causing roads near shops to be gridlocked as people que to get into shops.
I know parts of Ireland 
have had flooding.

The forecast says that the rubbish weather will start at 6pm with us in SW Wales. Tomorrow is going to be worse with rain all day and gusts of 45mph

It is a nasty few days coming very quickly after a run of very wet weather so many people will have a horrible time of it. down here in Devon and Cornwall there have been some rough seas - glad Im not right on the coast
We spoke to brother in law in Portadown earlier, it's bad over in Counties Down, Antrim & Armagh in Northern Ireland.

We have had a lot of rain in the South but nothing as bad as I have seen on the news. I saw a man swimming in the floods, does he not realise that it is not just rain.

Luckily in Sheffield we just had.the rain & wind,it was my day off so stayed wrapped up in my bed til 11am after being up at 6am making sure my partner had food & making him a Latte in his Costa Cup ready for his all day sleep at the other end of our city...
Our two cats had a few hours out before coming in wet & cold,I dried them both off with their towel, fed them & put heating on ,made sure they were cosy too....
I was going to walk to the shopping centre 5 min away for Milk at 6.30pm but decided to stay home as it was raining & dark. I have asked my partner to stop off & buy some when he finishes work at 7am & made do with the little bit I have..
