Xmas Lights - What Does Your Local Town Centres Lights Look Like?

Ours were put up over a month ago, but they’re not lit yet. Nothing special, very generic. They have gone down a PC route where it doesn’t look like Xmas at all (I will put up a photo later today UPDATE: it’s up now 
)
gone are the days when the xmas lights were something to marvel at
Ours is poor its just a tree that looks bold no lights or decorations the community came together to pay for a proper tree this is what our council thought was a good tree 
Lol omg that tree looks like it is on its way out already! Not sure if it’s going to last till Xmas - the winter weather might take it out! Lol I’m sorry your council did this - what a poor way to spend public money
Our Parish Council put up a few festive solar lights on some signs. They are really pretty. Of course we have the usual lighting around the shops and Christmas tree but I particularly like the solar lights on the roads.
Unfortunately our council have gone down the holiday lights route with no mention of Christmas. Dull dull dull
