Thought that this was worth a mention as Christmas can be quite expensive and every little helps!

You can save up to a maximum of £485 on one savings card but you only need to have £280 on it to get the maximum £15 bonus and you can have as many cards as you like so if you have more than £280, its worth getting another card.

I know I spend quite a bit in the supermarket in December so to get £15 extra for free just for being organised is great!
ASDA George offers free click and collect. But before you place your order, double check by entering your postcode that click and collect is available at your store. Standard delivery costs £3.50.

ohh this is good! i wasn't aware asda did this norm do a xmas shop there but dont weekly as not close sooo good to know thank you xx
They put the bonus on the card so you have to spend it in Asda yes but obviously there’s George too
Great, my daughter lives by our local asda store so I always pick up bits when I visit, will top up then. Thanks
This is great, we went and got our card today when we went shopping there today and did the first payment on it, looking forward too seeing how much we can save
Does anybody know if you can put £280 on the card on say the morning of 17 November, and receive 5.35% interest in one day?
Yep exactly right. As long as the balance says £280 by 5pm on 17th, you get the full £15 bonus on the 18th added to balance plus you can have multiple cards too if you want 2 x £280 etc...
emmabeckz Thanks. The only 'drawback' is presumably you have to spend all the money in Asda. Aldi across the road (for me) is more often cheaper !!
martinrosen Yep but you can also use in George section for their clothing and they have decent sales on plus Asda also sell discounted gift cards about 4 times a year for Pizza Hut, Odeon, Pizza Express, New Look and iTunes etc so you save more. Usually 15% - 20% off and 10% on iTunes so you could get quite a stack going!
I have been into Asda today 15th November and used my Christmas savings card as today is bonus day and when I checked my receipt no bonus added
It closes today at 5pm it says on the website - the extra fund are added after that date possibly by end of Monday 16th so check back then
