3-Year-Old Shoots His Mother and Wanted Murder Suspect Leading to His Arrest

In the News

Just when i think i have seen and heard the worst something comes along to trump everything

This time it is a 3 year old in the USA who shot his mother and her friend, a wanted murderer, with the same bullet

Although not seriously hurt the incident enabled the police to arrest the man

It just beggars belief a 3 year old could even access a gun never mind lift it and fire it hitting two people at the same time

I think the USA would be the last place i would want to live , with school shootings and toddlers firing guns in the home, how much younger are they going to get , they will be shooting from the pushchair next

Absolutely crazy !!

The gun lobby in the USA shows a major weakness in the AMerica system which they just dont seem to be able to fix

That's madness but then again some kids over there get shown how to use a gun at a very young age why? Because it's normal for them I will never understand it myself

What seems crazy to me is that Americans are so set on adhering to a constitution that was written in the 18th century by people who still believed in witchcraft and other things we laugh at today. Yes, the right to bear arms was a necessary evil back then, in a new world full of danger. But today? What possible reason could a teen have for owning an automatic weapon? Why does anyone?

Weaning the Americans off their weapons is an impossibility due to the strong gun lobby that make money out of people buying and owning weapons.

They also allow 16 year olds to drive lethal weapons, although we are not far behind in that respect. If they raised legal driving age to 21 imagine how much less traffic we would have, but of course the government would lose money if they did that!

Lynibis i agree, their insistence on the right to bear arms seems very silly to me. However, there is so many guns in the country now how would they ever be able to rid themselves of them? I know in the 90s there was an gun amnesty in Australia which was successful and removed a lot of firearms from the streets. Sadly i don’t think the same thing in america would work

Lynibis And their vehicles are more lethal because of their size L, although not as big as they used to be with their 5 and 6 liter engines

jms19 It is bad enough here without the right to bear arms , drug dealers running around shooting each other , the police cannot stop it so imagine how difficult it must be to stop over there where it is legal to own a weapon , i would say impossible

Lynibis There's a discussion to be had here, but have you seen England lately or just London?

There's a Ticker Tacker who made "pranks" about home invasion, threatening to kill, jumping someone, and stealing a dog... Yeah, he's playing with fire.

Only In America where you can gladly walk In to Walmart and buy a gun. What do you expect. If we all had a firearm, we would all be dangerous. It’s bad enough here with knifes let alone guns.

Can't fire a gun without owning one.The right to bear arms is just sheer madness in my book.

On what planet is it OK to leave a dangerous weapon around a 3 year old or any child. The USA really needs to get a grip but they are all just to obsessed with gun ownership.

Midnightflower I think most of them are missing a brain cell or two M, and letting them own these lethal weapons is like trusting a monkey with a hand grenade

telmel Well said. If that had happened in the UK, the parents would be in jail, child in social services and everyone would be in total shock. But in the USA its OK!

I certainly don't get the ownership of automatic and semi-automatic rifles which are often used in shooting incidents where multiple people are killed. Those are full-on weapons that aren't needed for home defence, sport or hunting.
