£80 for Doggy Perfume!!

Ask a Question

Would you buy doggy perfume?

Designer brand Dolce and Gabbana has launched a luxury fragrance for dogs called Fefe. This posh pooch perfume, created by a Parisian master perfumier, costs over £80 and features a blend of ylang-ylang flowers and sandalwood. 🐶🌸

We no longer have our dog but no way would I have spent that kind of money on a perfume for a dog. I don't even spend that amount on a perfume for myself! I think it is completely unnecessary for dogs to wear perfume.

MrsCraig What about the kind of doggy colognes you can get in B&M for less than £10?

SamGoodship didn't know you could get them in B&M. I just don't see the point of perfume for dogs. Dogs are meant to smell like dogs.

MrsCraig Most people who own dogs or cats probably wouldn't even think about making them use perfumes.

It's much more important to make sure their health is up to date.

Might be a weird thing to say but I like the smell of a dog (not a wet dog though) lol, I don't spend £80 on myself never mind a dog, ridiculous, some people have too much money to waste

martinlufc5637 For me it depends on the smell of the dog! Some have kind of an oily/dusty smell....

If people are stupid enough to buy then someone will sel it. It's neither natural or healthy for dogs to wear perfume. They decend from animals who would roll themselves in animal stools to cover their scent, however if thats the look Doce and Gabbana are aiming for who are we to question. lol

Not necessary- you can probably get a decent session at that price so not needed for just a perfume

I have had dogs in the past and there are already dogs sprays out there to purchase a lot cheaper than this perfume. And it works. But it will sell, always people with money to burn.

As we are on a value for money shopping site I doubt anyone here would be stupid enough to waste such money on this. It just seems like a product for the more money than sense brigade.

BonzoBanana On Harrods website they had this product on pre-order for £185, which claims it's worth £1144... I'm pretty skeptical it's worth that as I remember they had iPhone cases for £300+. They just pull numbers out of nowhere and people are happy paying their prices.

PhilipMarc How many are happy paying those prices, I suspect very few and its a low turnover , high margin type of situation. It's not a shop I will ever shop at that is for sure either online or instore. If I'm in London in that area might take a look but can't imagine actually buying anything.

I thought it'd be from Harrods, but knowing Harrods they'd probably charge even more like, uh, £180-£200 for it. 🤣
