I have Amazon Prime for the free delivery , which of course means I buy more ! Only ever watched Amazon TV a few times (football and a couple of series ) .

Wouldn't even consider any streaming service such as Netflix as I have a Sky box full of recorded stuff I have still to watch (and I haven't got or want SKY Cinema).

Netflix has a far better catalog of movies and shows, plus, if you have a quality VPN you can watch other countries Netflix catalogs.

Both so different for many reasons. I keep with amazon for my deliveries and offers aswell as the basic music BUT Netflix can have better things to watch. My girls like the series Free Rein and Xmas things like the Princess switch has bought a sequel out so we make use of both I guess. I've also got Disney+ which is very much worth the money. I've shared my log in with a few family members as you can watch upto 10 devices on the same account... May aswell share the wealth. 😂 Wish someone would share their Netflix with us so we can all enjoy and save the costs 🤷🏼‍♀️

I have Amazon Prime, but don't really use it.

Also have access to Netflix, but don't really watch that either. I did really enjoy After Life though and will watch the 2nd series soon.

I guess it depends on what you want. If you are looking only at the TV / Film offerings than Netflix is clearly superior. I have Prime mainly for the free postage etc so the TV is a bonus that I occasionally dip into. As we approach Christmas then we may well end up getting Netflix as well for the TV.

I think the two are kind of different. Yes, both offer TV and film but Prime gives you free books and magazines, super quick free delivery and music. I must admit, I have both and use Netflix for most of my TV viewing as it by far, much better. If you went for TV only then Netflix comes out on top 😁

You cant really compare the Two. Netflix has a huge range of films and tv shows but as others have said amazon have less so but offers much more in the sense of free delivery regardless of order value, kindle books, music etc etc

We have both. We use both of them for tv, especially for kids shows but prime gives us free delivery which is an added bonus for when we order items, although it doesn't make us buy more stuff. I don't prefer one over the other though, they are both good, for different reasons. It really depends what you want them for

Got both.. and deliveries from Amazon most days! It’s just too easy to think, can’t be bothered going out so I will buy off Amazon for next day delivery! We also have virgin which we hardly ever use (apart from Xmas channel at this time of year) ... thinking of getting rid of virgin and having NOWTV??

I prefer the shows they have on Netflix, but obviously amazon prime is more than just tv shows, so it’s not much of a competition

I go between both, I find they both have a lot of the same stuff but you do find more on prime that Netflix doesn’t have. I think it’s down to the person and the diffrent things you watch.

I have Sky, Amazon Prime and Netflix. Out of the three Netflix is the one that has better movies and their own productions. Image

Definitely Netflix for me. Had amazon prime for 6 months on a deal but hardly ever watched anything on It. Found it quite difficult to find things to watch whereas Netflix has a better layout.

I’m just about to start episode 4! It is a bit weird but I’m enjoying it. Generally I prefer Netflix but the odd film or series pops up on Prime that I’m interested in.

gerrykelly25 I watched the first two episodes tonight. Great cast, I hadn't realised Luke Evans was in it so that was a nice surprise 😁. It is a bit weird I agree, almost sinister yet nothing has actually happened yet. It's slow paced but I'm interested enough to keep watching tomorrow.

I have both, I occasionally watch Amazon Prime as it part of my Prime membership, but I wouldn't pay extra for it. Saying that I watched a good film the other night The Decoy Bride, it was a 2011 film but I hadn't seen it, British film

I prefer Netflix, I understand Amazon Prime comes with other things such as the free delivery but the range of films and tv shows on Netflix is better and on Amazon Prime not everything is included. So Netflix over Amazon Prime.

If you want all the content then Netfix will be the one to go for. I'm not bothering with Netflix as Prime is good enough for me, which I mainly have for all the other benefits. I know plenty of people who have both.

If you haven't already got Amazon Prime, they offer 30 days free trial with your 1st purchase and it'll probably be "Free Next day Delivery" and you can also cancel the subscription easily enough yourself, at any time through your account.

If you're a real Telly/Film addict it might be better looking into getting an IPTV setup on a firestick and save yourself the Netflix fees as you can have access any channel from across the world.

For me Prime is currently better because of the free next day delivery, prime reading and prime music. Tho I do miss the Netflix Originals but I found they were removing lots of content and adding lots of things I wasn't interested in, plus cancelling series' before their conclusion season eg Glow... Having said that, if u cancel ur Netflix account for a set time u get a message for a 30 day trial again, same with Amazon tho

To be honest I just use free streaming, itv player, ch4, ch5, youtube and Kodi and various add ons. If I'm doing a free trial of amazon prime typically around black friday etc then I will see what videos are worth watching. I have a network drive with a lot of my favourite movies and series on which most devices can access around the house. I've never actually done a free trail of netflix. I used to be a sky subscriber many years ago and just found there was very little I was watching for the subscription so stopped and as you get older most of the scripts of programs start repeating and it doesn't seem fresh anymore. I'm really a scifi fan and at best there are probably 1 or 2 movies and 1 or 2 series a year that I like. I should add I'm more a gamer. I probably watch a movie less than once a month nowadays and often I start watching a movie and loss interest and never get to the end.
