Amazon's smart home security division Ring has unveiled a flying camera that launches if sensors detect a potential home break-in.
It is designed to activate only when residents are out, works indoors, and is limited to one floor of a building.
The firm also unveiled an online games-streaming service and a voice-activated screen that swivels about.
As exciting as it seems, it’s scary stuff...especially if you think Alexa is already listening in on your conversations!
Would you get these devices?
I agree. I know someone who had an alexa and got rid of it as it just creeped her out, laughing randomly and saying things that didn’t make sense
Hi hspexy. No I would not get one big brother is all ready watching us. Hope you had a lovely weekend.
Hi nicolajaynehend yes the weekend was good, but passed so quickly. Hope you had a good one also
Luna is definitely very exciting. It's nice to see more players enter game streaming. Amazon Luna vs Google Stadia vs Microsoft xCloud vs Nvidia GeForce Now, and Apple are probably launching their own one soon. Amazon has the best cloud infrastructure + Twitch + Prime so I think it has a real chance.
Sounds expensive maybe when price goes down considerably
For anyone worried about big brother the amount Facebook Amazon Apple ( probably forgot a few) ect record about us daily and they all admit it not to forget CCTV there is little you can do with no one knowing anyway
