Has Anyone Heard of Boo Baskets

Ask a Question

My daughter has mentioned that a lot of her friends are getting Boo baskets for Halloween. I have never heard of them before. Has any heard of them? I think it’s just another money making exercise.

Imnotcheap yes that what I thought. Ridiculous at this time of the year. Parents have enough to pay out.

Yes, I've seen them non-stop on social media recently. Basically a basket full of autumn/halloween themed stuff that will be used for about one month a year at maximum.

I think this is going a step too far now. I’m all for a Halloween party, a small organised children’s one or a company hosting a larger one but food hampers, who are these for?

eyeballkerry I think for the kids or fortnum and mason do a family one. I agree a step too far.

Oh my days. This is because some parents go over the top at every opportunity they can. I understand some people want to spoil their kids - but some families can’t afford this

a collection of goodies to celebrate the delights of fall and our favorite time of year when kids are adorned in the most outrageously adorable costumes

ridiculous, it's just another opportunity to spoil their already spoiled kids

As if we don't have enough to buy they bring in more money making schemes. I for one will not be buying one. I've got his birthday and Christmas to deal with I'm not bothering with Halloween.

A Boo Basket whatever next, sounds like a hamper by what people are saying, sounds a bit like the Xmas Eve box.

Halloween is a one day event every year so maybe for kids or even ladies maybe don't know.

Think it's personal preference really

Yea saw you tube videos a few years ago and knew it would creep its way over here from America . It’s stupid and I didn’t even take mine tick or treating and I never got swept in with stuff when mine were little and with cost of living so much it’s fine for “content creators “ to do these videos of their boo baskets and even their “hauls “ for anything but they’re sent stuff free no doubt whereas anyone else is paying for things and not many people would pay any attention to a Halloween oodie for instance
