Has Anyone Stayed in a RUI hotel or been to Fueteventura?
Ask a Question
If you’ve stayed in one , where and your experience please.. I’m off in few days just heads up would be appreciated.
Or been to Fueteventura / corralejo area ?
Have not been to the Canary Islands, but reading "Fuetventura" gave me a chuckle because fuet is meat, like jamón, ham, chorizo, morcillo (black pudding), etc.
Here's a YT video posted a day ago:
Went quite a few years ago and thought it was really nice. Can’t remember what hotel we stayed in. We hired a car and went all over the island. Corralejo is quite big. ( think it is the biggest but nice) depending how long you are staying you could get a ferry over to Lanzarote which isn’t too far.
I've been to Fuerteventura and wasn't impressed at where we stayed, Globales Costa Tropical, Caleta de Fuste, (about 30 mins from airport) there was nothing tropical about it and the area is very run down. Corralejo to the north is supposed to be very nice.
Well, what a question for me.Yes, I have been to Fuerteventura.I liked it so much and now I live here in a village six miles from Corralejo which is the best resort with lots to see and do.The sand dunes and the azure seas are a real delight.Restaurants top class.Rui is one of the best hotel chains.Corralejo is multi cultural,Caleta very much favoured by the English and Jandia in the South by the Germans.Come to the island and you will not be disappointed.26 degrees at the moment.
Stayed at a Rui in Mexico and my partner had stayed in one in Jamaica. Usually great service, good quality accommodation and well laid out for families
Thank you all I leave tomorrow and staying for a week, I joined the hotel group so got some information. Fingers crossed it will be just what we need as right on the beach. Not very close to much need taxi / bus .
