Should I buy An Apple Watch?

Ask a Question

Thinking of finally getting an Apple watch after being a Fitbit user for several years. I know they’re expensive but you get what you pay for but for those that have them I’d be interested to know what main gripes you have eg short battery life

My battery lasts all day, even when exercising it's still on around 40% - 50% when I put it on the charger in the evening.

My only gripe is when you first set it up, phone calls are routed through it, so if you have forgotten to change the settings you are walking along talking to your wrist like some secret agent.

But, that feature is easily switched off in settings.

Also, if you want to buy extras like different straps etc, the official Apple ones are exorbitant. Thankfully you can get them on eBay for a fraction of the price.

blacklabrador thanks for the comments. Yeah the Fitbit straps aren’t much better I have had to replace them multiple times

Yes I’d recommend it. I love my Apple Watch. The battery life is great and you can buy replacement straps on Amazon for bout £12 for 4/5 so you can change the strap to match your outfit or your mood each day. Definitely a great watch

My husband prefers Garmin, they are a good company for support.

As you say you get what you pay for. Apple watches have a lot of good features and the build quality is very high. I find apple products tend to last longer than most of their competitors
